Zendaya’s new movie, The Greatest Showman, earned three Golden Globe nominations on Monday, but honestly, she’s already won. The eternal style icon looked very on-theme on Monday when she traipsed the sidewalk in a stunning all-gold outfit that would slay at any holiday party. But despite dressing like an actual Golden Globe, she said this was a total coincidence. “Today’s accidental reference…Golden Globes✨,” she tweeted, along with three photos of the glamorous but effortless look.
Zendaya kept her hair low-key with loose curls and her makeup was a similar combination of low-maintenance and elegance, with thick, natural-looking brows, a peachy lip gloss, and just a slight dusting of shadow to accentuate the eyes. Styled to perfection by Luxury Law, Zendaya made sure the centerpiece was her amazing metallic trench coat. Belted, flared, and worn as a dress, the Giuseppe di Morabito coat had a crinkly gold foil effect and subtle, embossed floral designs. Rather than tone down her accessories, Zendaya committed to the look with a textured gold Bienen-Davis handbag, gold hoops, and gold Paul Andrew heels.

Naturally, her fans loved it. Zendaya’s look has garnered over 11,000 retweets and 60,000 likes on Twitter and has been immortalized via its own Twitter moment. “The awards themselves are shakinggg,” tweeted user @lilyevcns, while @jvvlixn asked, “Was this an accidental slay too?” And although it’s been less than six hours since Zendaya decided to grace the Internet with the outfit, it already has its own fan-art. User @SWatercolour depicted the actor as an anthropomorphic Golden Globe. Give her all of the trophies, please and thanks.
