I’ve never met a jacket I didn’t like, so I generally use fall as an excuse to cram one more into my closet, and since this year is off to a coolish start already, I won’t have to wait. I am currently online stalking a Vetements fitted burgundy leather trench, but it’s still stratospherically out of my budget, so I may have to find an appropriate substitute!
Since I do a lot of running around backstage during Fashion Week, shoes I can sprint/stand/subway in are essential. Isabel Marant’s simple and easy loafers are great for that. At night, Prada’s red velvet Mary Janes look festive and not too high. Both would go well with cropped jeans and button-downs or easy dresses, which are my go-to uniforms, with or without an oversize sweater.
