Smartphones addiction is not okay for you
Getting hooked on smartphones and other digital gadgets are killing your efforts to relax
. Having to check out emails, social media and completely getting engrossed on our phones the way modern culture has evolved into, increases, rather than reduces stress. The medical term for it is “helpful-stress cycle.” It’s forcing people to always seek each other to communicate even the most trivial titbits and gossip, even when you should be left alone to relax.
The British Chiropractic Association says our addiction to smartphones has led to young people to suffer from back problems, as the time spent leaning over small phone screens is putting spinal discs under pressure. About 45 percent of 15-24-year-olds suffer from back pain.
